Vissering Family Reunion

Our Annual Vissering Family Reunion will be on April 12, 2025 and will be at Harry James and Chassidy Vissering’s house again this year. We are excited and look forward to seeing all of you there! 

We had our 2024 Annual Vissering Family Reunion on May 11th, 2024, at Harry James and Chassidy Vissering’s house. We had a wonderful time with family. We try to have our reunion in April every year, but we had to change to May this year, due to unforeseen circumstances and will still be planning on April going forward. 

Our 2023 Vissering Family Reunion on April 22nd, 2023, at Harry James and Chassidy Vissering’s house.  We had about 82 in attendance! As always, we had delicious food, lots of fellowship and we all had fun!

Vissering is a well-established and very respected, family name, moving from Germany to St. Louis in 1888.  The Vissering Family is well known in the East Texas (Naples) area.

Papa’s parents, Friederich and Reina Vissering brought their family to St. Louis, U.S.A. in 1888 after selling their home and small farm near Leer, Ost Friesland, in Northwestern Germany, adjacent to the eastern border of Holland.  This was an area of once free (read more….)
